Study Abroad for Free! London University Offers N37m Scholarship

Prospective master’s degree candidates from Nigeria are eligible to seek a scholarship opportunity at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.

As outlined on the school’s website, this scholarship is open to students hailing from low and middle-income nations, with Nigeria being among the eligible countries. Qualified applicants from Nigeria may be granted a complete exemption from tuition fees.

Additionally, selected students will receive a living allowance of 19,500 Pounds (equivalent to approximately N37 million) for the entire duration of their master’s program.

Information on the school’s website reads: “These scholarships have been made possible by donors to the LSHTM Fund.

Supported by hundreds of alumni and friends, the LSHTM Fund provides scholarships for the next generation of global health leaders.

This year’s two scholarships are intended to support excellent candidates who would be unable to take up a place of study without this financial support.”

To be eligible for the financial assistance, individuals must have received an offer of admission for the 2024-25 academic year to one of LSHTM’s London-based (intensive) MSc programs.

Therefore, students seeking to avail themselves of this opportunity must initially apply for admission and secure acceptance into the institution. The deadline for submitting applications for review is March 4, 2024.
